Do you accept insurance?
I am only in network with Blue Cross Blue shield. If you are uncertain if your BCBS plan covers mental health care, please call them first before making an appointment.
Most insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits which may cover some or all of your therapy costs. Check with your insurance company to confirm your out-of-network benefits.
Cash, Check, Visa, Discover, Master Card, and American Express
That depends on your income. We offer an income-based sliding scale fee. Our main concern is getting you the help you need so if the cost of counseling is keeping from seeking help, at least give us a call.
The first time you come in we will have some paperwork to go over before we can do anything else. We will go over some policies, answer any questions you have, and go over our payment structure.
Once all the formalities are out of the way we can start talking and getting to know each other. If you are a little nervous about coming that is perfectly natural. It isn’t always easy to share your struggles with people, but that is a big part of the healing process. When we sit down, you may have a lot bottled up or you may not know where to start and either is fine. From there we will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you would like to achieve through this process, and start to get an idea of how to work toward those goals.
